Forget about manually trimming grass right at the edge of flowerbeds or fences. The new Dreame A4 AWD Pro Series robotic lawn mower, presented at IFA, promises to eliminate this task thanks to the innovative EdgeMaster 4.0 system. This technology allows the mower to extend its cutting disc beyond the body, trimming grass close to walls, fences, and curbs, leaving no unwanted strip of vegetation. This means your lawn will look perfectly even across the entire area, without the need to spend time on finishing touches with a trimmer.

The new model is not afraid of complex terrain. Thanks to all-wheel drive (AWD), it can overcome slopes of up to 90%, which is equivalent to approximately 42 degrees. This makes it suitable for use on hilly areas where many other robotic systems give up. Furthermore, the Dreame A4 AWD Pro Series can handle uneven ground: it can drive over holes or potholes up to 10 centimeters deep and up to 15 centimeters wide without getting stuck.

Navigation is carried out using a combination of technologies: 360-degree 3D LiDAR, RTK satellite positioning, and AI-powered binocular vision create an accurate map of your yard. An additional infrared sensor helps the robot detect people and pets, ensuring safety during operation.

The manufacturer plans to release the model on the global market in 2027. The estimated starting price will be around $3500 USD, with two modifications designed for areas of approximately 0.4 and 0.48 hectares, respectively.
