NVIDIA has introduced the latest GeForce Game Ready driver package, version 616.56 WHQL. The update is designed to provide optimal performance in three new games: "Star Wars: Outpost 13," "Echo: Plague Legacy," and "Hell on Earth: Vietnam." Special attention has been given to supporting DLSS 4.5 technology. Specifically, "Star Wars: Outpost 13," releasing on August 27th, will immediately receive support for DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution and Frame Generation. "Hell on Earth: Vietnam" also supports DLSS 4.5, and users of RTX 50 series graphics cards will be able to activate dynamic frame generation through the NVIDIA application.
In addition to optimizing for new releases, the driver fixes a number of issues that gamers have encountered. These include incorrect frame rates when using DLSS Frame Generation in "Doom: The Dark Ages" and "Indiana Jones and the Circle of Ancients," as well as texture problems in "The Outer Worlds" after updating to R595 and R610 drivers. Other errors related to application performance and driver stability have also been resolved, including issues with ASUS Armoury Crate color profiles and crashes in Chief Architect on RTX 4000 graphics cards.
This update, while not a new hardware release, is critically important for gamers aiming to get the most out of their NVIDIA graphics cards, especially when utilizing the latest image scaling technologies.
